New Country Check has been the fabric equivalent of a reliable friend since the Alan Campbell studio first put it into production — the one that shows up in the city apartment and the weekend house with equal conviction. This colorway is custom: blue and green on white, which means it reads preppy from across the room and interesting up close, where the handprinting shows its hand. Forty-eight inches wide, sixteen-inch repeat, custom cotton ground woven and printed in the USA. Nine yards — enough for the curtains, or the chair, or the ottoman that finally makes the sofa make sense.
