A word about the name, since the name is doing the work: Camelot was never a place so much as a light — a brief, improbable interval everyone who saw it spent the rest of their lives describing. This is a paper in that spirit. Light mauve is the shade dusk turns for about four minutes in late May; most papers won't attempt it because it forgives nothing. This one was hand-printed for a client who knew exactly what she was asking for, and fifty-five rolls remain of a run that will not come again. One brief shining interval, by the roll. Five-yard minimum, as befits royalty.
